The most dangerous thing you’ll step into all the day. For the A&P New York project we took our classic silhouette and sent it to Nobi Kashiwaga for treatment. Nobi started training Jiu-Jitsu in 2000 and received his Black Belt in 2009 from Fabio Clemente.
In 1995, Nobi Kashiwagi moved to New York City from Japan to study photography at Parsons School of Design where he graduated with a Bachelors in Fine Art. Nobi began his career at the acclaimed fashion-advertising agency AR New York. He has worked on many different projects across advertising, branding and design including, Versace, Dolce & Gabbana, Calvin Klein, Brioni, Asprey, Brooks Brothers, Jones New York, St. Regis Resort & Hotels and the Surry Hotel. He also worked on editorial page design for Steven Meisel for Vogue Italia. In 2011, he started his own studio and worked on accounts such as P&G prestige, Rizzolo Publications, Engineered Garments. In 2014, Nobi joined Vogue Conde Nast designing editorial pages with fashion editors each month.
The A&P x New York Project Kimono in Blue and Borough Tee in (white) was released In New York this past Sunday on October 2nd at Fabio Clemente Jiu Jitsu Academy, followed by our online release for the White Kimono, Borough tee in (white) and the Albino and Preto Text Tee in (blue) on October 7th at www.albinoandpreto.com at 10AM PST.
