The Albino & Preto x JSP capsule revisits their collaborative history dating back to 2013 while highlighting the evolution of both brands over the years.
Inspired by their initial joint release eight years ago, the foundation of the collection stems from the design blueprint of the multi-panel sweatpants. The camouflage pattern, reminiscent of their inaugural collaboration, now takes on a color-blocked interpretation across various pieces, including a five-panel hat, a revamped sweatsuit, and the iconic A&P signature training kimono.
Jimmy Gorecki of JSP reflects on the inspiration behind the collaboration, stating, "I've always been fascinated by the world of Jiu-Jitsu. Many of my closest friends, as well as fashion icons and fellow skateboarders from my upbringing, have immersed themselves in this art form for years. Witnessing the physical and mental benefits it provides—enhancing focus and pushing individuals to become the best versions of themselves—has been enlightening. Having grown up training in disciplines like Taekwondo, Greco-Roman, and freestyle wrestling, I can personally relate to the discipline and dedication it requires."
Each garment in the collection boasts a color palette of olive, black, brown, and cream, accentuated by contrasting co-branded patches strategically placed throughout. The branded labels featuring the A&P and JPD logos are prominently displayed at the bottom of the kangaroo pocket, atop the sweatpants, and on the front of the five-panel hat. The training kimono, crafted from durable 10 oz cotton-canvas, is adorned with "STND.ISSUE" embroidery on the right side of the chest, adding a distinctive touch to the ensemble.
